Snow Canyon State Park 10.22.09

After work on Thursday we stopped by Snow Canyon State Park. We hiked into a white bowl made of awesome rock formations and took some fun photos.

You know... I just have to share on my blog how wonderful it is to be able to work with my husband. Not only is window cleaning great exercise... But it is also a joy to be able to spend the day with my husband, working, laughing and laughing some more. I feel very blessed to be able to spend so much time with Jared! He is such a calming influence and so much fun!! We laugh often everyday. Sometimes I laugh so hard I can hardly breath! (is that spelled with our without an e at that end breath? or breathe?)

This week we were pretty busy and I worked with him all day thursday and friday, and then we did one big job early Saturday. Next week we also have a busy week scheduled... no rain please!

Thursday Night we were given tickets to see Aida at Tuacahn! The weather was perfect and the show was so much fun. After the show we drove up to Brian Head and stayed at a friends cabin. Friday, Jared drove down with me to Cedar. He dropped me off, while I taught a couple classes. We spent the rest of the weekend at Brian Head. It was so wonderful being able to spend the weekend with the man I love! I am so SPOILED! And I know it!

Sierra Nevada Adventure with Owsley Clan

Okay so Jared's idea of a "retreat" and my idea of a retreat are not the same. I soaked in a nice hot bath. He jumped into a freezing glacial lake at close to 10,000 feet elevation. I'll add a video, just for proof. Notice everyone else is wearing jackets and hats. My husband is the one wearing swim trunks jumping off the rock!!! You can't miss his gorgeous farmer tan!

Here is Adam pointing to the Minaret. Yes, siree, the boys climbed to the tippy top. This is their idea of a fun adventure. What is so wrong with just getting a massage? I mean which would you choose... climb a jagged cliff up to 12,000 feet elevation, or get a massage???

I think men and women are suppose to be different. If for nothing else, so that we can miss each other terribly--even while we are both enjoying ourselves immensely!

To be completely honest, if I didn't have to camp without restroom facilities, the hiking and photography looks to be out of this world! I've got to learn to hike and take pictures faster, so I can make it back before dark.

Retreat Weekend!

Jared is in the Sierra Nevada's with the Owsley Clan and I am having a weekend retreat!

I've spent the past 3 days catching up on some "writing".

I found out that I don't sleep well without Jared in my bed! So, I went over to a friends last night and slept 10 hours! It felt so good that this morning I came home and treated myself to a facial and soaking bath for an hour! Am I spoiled or what???

I think I'll use this face mask as part of my halloween costume this year!!!

THE PLANE... THE PLANE...

Okay... I know that you can't see it... but really there is a plane down there! Seriously, they sunk a plane into Sand Hollow Reservior for the divers. (I don't know who... but they)

When the water is high the plane is about 45 or so feet under the surface of the water and depending on the conditions can be very difficult to find. It's a big lake and the plane is rather small in comparison. So, ever since we've moved here, Jared has wanted to dive down to the plane. Because that is what boys do. They dive down to touch things that are sunk in the middle of the lake. They think it is FUN or something!

Earlier this week, Jared had some jobs in an area near Sand Hollow. So, after work he went to the lake and thought to himself, I might touch the plane today. It was a Wednesday and there were only 2 boats on the lake and not another swimmer in site. (That's because all the kids are back in school!)

The Conditions were practically perfect. The water was a little lower so the plane was only 35 or so feet under the surface. The lake was perfectly still.

Now, you have to understand, everytime we go to Sand Hollow there is one or two suburbans full of divers... you know the kind with wet suits, oxygen tanks, fins, the whole outfit! Diving schools take their students there to learn to dive. Most people use this type of fancy and expensive equipment to dive down to "touch" and "check-out" the plane.

Not my husband... oh no... he shows up... he's the only one at the lake (practically)... he has a pair of shorts on and some small swimming goggles. He swims a quarter mile or so off shore and spots the plane from the surface. Takes a few deep breaths and dives down. Clears his ears... dives again and then back up the surface... and then at the surface he thinks, "I am going to touch that plane TODAY!!!" He takes a deep breathe swims down 10 feet, 15 feet, 20 feet, 25 feet, 30 feet to 35 feet and touches the plane!

Once again, Jared has a goal and achieves it!!! He is amazing and I am so happy that he finds so much joy in life! Great job free diving to the plane!!! You are AWESOME! I love you!

Saturday September 19, 2009- OBSERVATION POINT

Jared and I got up at 5:00 on Saturday Morning to go hike to Observation Point in Zion's National Park. We arrived before the trams were running! And were able to watch the sunrise during our ascent up over 2000 feet in Elevation! What a beautiful morning!!

It took us under 2 hours to hike 4 miles to the top and for some reason it took over 3 hours for us to get down. I must be getting old, because the down HURT more than the up! Up, I was out of breathe from time to time, but going down was downright painful, especially on the toes and knees.

After hiking we went to Fatali's Photograph Museum in Springdale! His photos were amazing! Then we went to an apple orchard and picked apples! YUMMY! What a wonderful day!

August 29, 2009 This is the Place Monument- PARK

The last weekend of August, Jared went to the Tetons with one of his best buddies- Nate Cox. He dropped me off in Northern Utah, while he climbed the Grand in a day! You'll have to ask him the details... unfortunately, no bear stories on this trip. (Other teton adventures usually include a bear or some other friendly creature of the wild!)

I was able to spend Saturday Morning with Noelle, John and their children at " This is the Place Monument Park, Salt Lake City. Here are recent pictures of the children! Aren't they cute! We had so much fun exploring and petting goats! Some of the kids even got the chance to ride a train and horses! While I was in charge of photos!

I also had the opportunity to see Anna and Maya Cox, Leah, Savannah and Patch, and the Kosorok Family. They just moved from Seattle, WA back to Utah! I had a great weekend and was very happy that Jared made it home safely into my arms!!!

The DVD is completed! I presented Strong and Beautiful: 30 Minute Blast Thursday August 20, 2009 at SUU! I passed!!!

It is official! I have passed my four summer courses, including my capstone project! I have a master's in sports performance and conditioning from SUU!

I am so excited!!! It is such a miracle that I was able to complete the program in a year! And by the way... I am the first graduate of the new program! And as Dr Lambson said, "There is only one first!" Not that I am competitive in nature... but I sort of like being able to say that! :)

Jared and I spent the weekend in Brian Head and exploring around Cedar Breaks. Jared went for a fun bike ride and stopped and met me at this cool water fall in a tunnel! I got some fun pictures. I especially like this funny one of Jrad!

Oh... I was also offered a job teaching as an adjunct professor at SUU! It isn't official... but I've looked over the text for the wellness class and I really like it! I hope that it works out and that in January I can start teaching Part-time! Dr Lambson the department head offered me the job and I was honored. Because he knows me!!! I am really excited about this opportunity!

Pine Valley Retreat

Jared and I had one of those perfect days Saturday, August 8, 2009. The weather had surprisingly cooled off about 20 degrees in St George, making life absolutely wonderful!!!

I've discovered my number one complaint is that I don't like being outside in 115 degree heat! I am accustom to being able to go outside all summer long. I like going outside. I like playing in the outdoors. But in the summer some mornings are in the mid 80's!!!!

Jared and I went up to Pine Valley Saturday Morning and cleaned windows for the Brooks. The weather was cool and the company was fantastic. After cleaning windows we went to the Ence Cabin early to find Janice Ence all alone!!!

We kept Janice company until her husband, Jay and the rest of the branch showed up for dinner. But we were spoiled, Janice and Jay gave us a wonderful lunch and shared amazing stories about their life, their mission and other adventures!!! We had a blast getting to know the Ence's better! And they even let us go for an ride on the fourwheeler! Like I said a perfect fun day!

I kept observing Dean talking to Jared at various events and he kept asking Jared the same question... "Anything new going on in your life?" To which, Jared gave a different response depending on the week! Well, Sunday August 9, 2009 Jared met with President Christensen of the Stake Presidency. (Note: Jared thought we were going to be asked to clean the chapel windows on a regular basis, because they need it!)

President Christensen asked Jared to accept a new calling for the Lord, in the Green Valley Stake Sunday School Presidency. He is serving as President Dean Marriott's Secretary/Third Counselor. Jared was really sad about not starting up Special Needs Mutual for a second year... but is also really excited to be working with President Marriott and the other brothers in the Stake Sunday School Presidency. About 15 minutes after he accepted his new calling he was sustained in Sacrament Meeting!

Green River State Park and other.... june 2009

Jared can find a mountain to climb anywhere, even if it's just a realllllly big pile of dirt!

There were many times on this trip that were seriously questioned if we were headed anywhere. If felt like we were in a twilight zone episode. Maybe because they used this road in some of the episodes. Seriously, it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere heading nowhere!

I can't tell you how many times we have driven by this sign on the way to Brian Head and never stopped! I'd be embarrassed really! It's a short walk to the visitor center/gift shop and magnificent view point!

Of course, we had to stop and play in the snow! Lake to snow in less than an hour!!! amazing!

Kodachrome State Park

Kodachrome State Park Campground was full and it reminded me a lot of the Flintstones! As does most of the Escalante National Park. Unfortunately, we didn't have much time nor much light to take pictures. But once again, we found another beautiful state park hidden and off the main trails of Southern Utah. We will have to go back.

Bryce Canyon National Park, Ut

Jared and I have never spent much time in Bryce Canyon. We would like to several Hikes in the area! It really is unique and breath taking. We hit the canyon right before sunset!

One of the things we love about this park is the drive to it! It is similar to the drive in Cars! It is unreal!

I don't have any children... but how do I watch Jared??? my very big and handsome fun child!

Zion National Park- KOLOB

Kolob is often passed by visitors, or only visited in car, but there are also many hiking trails. In fact there is a trail that connects Kolob with Angels landing in the main park! That is a hike that Jared and I would like to do when it cools down!

Kolob is less than an hour from our house!

How will I ever keep my children from trying this??? Any suggestions!

Sand Hollow State Park

Sand Hollow is a beautiful State park just over 30 minutes from St George. Jared loves swimming around the island and has seen the plane that is sunk over 30 feet below the surface. Of course, he saw it free diving!

It was very windy on the day we went and there weren't many boats out there, but usually during the summer Sand Hollow is very busy and holiday weekends the camping sites are packed!

Quail Creek State Park June 2009

Jared loves to swim in quail Creek especially after working in 100 plus or over 110 degree heat here in St George, Utah. Quail Creek State Park was the 2nd of 18 state parks in our crazy weekend trip! But first we stopped at Bajio and got the Bajio salad to share! We had a great lunch but the wind almost picked it up and blew it away. We had to hold on to everything!!1

Snow Canyon Park is less than 15 minutes from our house! It has many hiking trails and we even have a view of it from our home! We love Snow Canyon State Park!

Calf Creek Falls- June 2009

Almost three years ago, Jared took me to Calf Creek Falls in the late fall! I've been dying to go back ever since. I think I took over 500 pictures on the hike and at the falls! Though the rec center campsites were full and we had to sleep in the parking lot, we had the falls to ourselves for over 2 hours of picture taking and fun! This was one of the highlights of the trip and will probably be a family tradition for the J & J McBride Family!

The hike to the falls is about 6 miles round trip and the camp ground is one of the best in southern Utah!

Arches June 2009

After calf Creek Arches was our favorite park to play in and take pictures!

We arrived Friday Evening and the sun peaked out from behind the clouds and then lit up the arches. It was spectacular!

The next morning we returned to Arches, the sky was crisp blue! We beat all the crowds and had fun climbing around the Arches!

We moved to St George almost 3 years ago! We lived only a few miles from this beach in La Jolla, California! We absolutely love living in St George, and we also love returning to California to visit some of our favorite beaches and friends and family!!!

This trip we stayed with the Owsley's and caught up on the Tour de France! We went to our old ward and saw some family and friends... of course the time went by too fast!

We saw at least a half dozen squid that washed up on the shore on Saturday morning!

Taylor and I sang, "It's my Party for uncle Johnny!" I sang it to Johnny and Melany on New Years eve 2009!!!

Wednesday July 8th, 2009 (7-8-9) Wayne Smith came and shot a Strength Training DVD for me here in my home in St George. The Strength Training DVD is my final project for my Master's Program! I had a lot of fun filming it with Wayne. He made it really easy and lots of fun! I can't wait to see the edited DVD!!!!

Mom & Dad McBride threw me a Graduation Party at my favorite place-- THE BEACH on Friday May 8th, 2009. The California McBride Family Attended and some friends. Here are some pictures of the Knoblochs, Allan Johnson, and Vici Pryor. It was such a fun party. We had fun food and I so enjoyed hanging out with people I love and who love me, celebrating my almost completed project!

Jared and I had a great time in California! Thank you mom and Dad from the fun Party and my wonderful GIFT. I love it!

Jared also took me to see the Body Exhibit at Balboa Park and we had a wonderful time! I am in awe at how incredible our bodies are and I am very grateful to my Father in Heaven for such a great blessing!

While I was taking pictures at the Butler/Root Wedding, Jared went to hear Rachel McBride sing at the House of Blues in Hollywood! Jared went with Sarah and his Mom! They had a great time!

SUU Graduation May 2, 2009

Graduation was AWESOME!

Jared and I had the opportunity to be a few feet away from President Thomas Monson and hear him speak. He counseled us to Learn from the Past, Prepare for the Future and Live in the Present. He said he has a 94 year old friend who is learning Greek. He asked him why he was studying Greek. The friend said, "Well, it's now or never!" President Monson said we should always continue to learn, even though it may not always be in a formal environment.

He Quoted Roy Rogers and said that we should LOVE PEOPLE and use things, and NOT USE PEOPLE and love things! That quote is profound. I hope that I always love people not things and never use people because of a love for things!

Pres. Monson was optimistic and full of faith! It was wonderful to have President Monson as the Keynote speaker at my graduation. I feel very blessed to have been able to be so physically close to the Prophet of the Lord and to have heard him speak. I feel very blessed to have had the opportunity to continue my education and be one step closer to finishing my Master's.

It feels weird to have participated in the commencement exercises and walked prior to finishing ALL of my courses. It feels WRONG! But the next ceremony isn't until May of 2010 and I will finish my classes over the summer. So... what is a girl to do?? (Besides... President Monson isn't going to speak again next year!!!)

I will be taking 3 classes at SUU and finishing up my capstone project this summer! Then I will officially complete all my courses and receive my Master's of Science Degree in Sports Performance and Conditioning from SUU!

These are two of my most favorite people in the world! Not only were they there for me when I had Kidney Stones!!!! But they patiently attended all the commencement exercises, kept Jared company, and celebrated this wonderful day with both of us! How grateful I am that the Lord has blessed me with wonderful friends like Kathie and Debbie, they have blessed my life in countless ways and made my life so much more enjoyable. The last picture is of Dr Rick Lambson, myself, Bridget Clinton, and Dr. Julie Taylor. Dr. Lambson is the Department Chair. He was very kind and accepted me into the program, even though I applied a few days late. He also has awarded me scholarship money, which has helped me get through school so quickly.

Bridget Clinton and I are two of the first graduates from the Sports Performance and Conditioning Program. The program is only in it's second year!

Dr Julie Taylor taught my Bioenergetics and Sports Nutrition classes. They were amazing classes. I apply the information I learned in her classes everyday!

I spent Friday afternoon working with Jared and after we finished our window cleaning jobs, he took me on a little photo date near Hurricane and Silver Reef, just about 20-30 miles north of our home in St George.

This was my favorite picture of the day! I love taking pictures of things falling apart at sunset!!! Not sure what this building was, it was only about 5 feet by 5 feet and close to the foundation of an old home.

Fun Day with John & Mel Pryor April 18, 2008

John, Melany, Jared and I went to Dixie Rock on Saturday April 18, 2008. A crowd gathered to watch us attempt to traverse the rock walls! We provided them with quality entertainment in St. George, Utah

John Pryor Jr is Strong! He really has a lot of natural ability and strength when it comes to bouldering.

We have physical evidence that I have actually put my climbing shoes on and that I have bouldered at Dixie Rock. However, I was the least enthusiastic of the group. Melany and John Pryor surpassed me in energy, enthusiasm and ability within 30 minutes!!!

Jared & I took our niece, Erin McKay to the Nickel Arcade in Orem, Utah on Friday April 10, 2009. I am not sure who had more fun, Jared, Erin or I??? Erin beat us both at Air Hockey and she absolutely loved Skee Ball. (I use to love it playing it when I was a her age too!)

Erin was really good at Air Hockey. She has excellent hand eye coordination. She picked it up really quick. I couldn't believe she had never played it before.

Thank you for playing with us Erin! We had a lot of fun visiting you and your family! We love you!

John & Melany Pryor Wedding April 11, 2009

I actually got a picture with the Bride at this wedding! Here is a picture of me with Mrs. Melany Pryor. She was sealed to John Pryor in the American Fork Temple on April 11, 2009. It was a beautiful wedding. The couple was gorgeous, the food was amazing at the Chef's Table in Provo, and it was a wonderful way to start the Easter Weekend.

I have to have million pictures of Emily Ruiz, but none with the two of us. Jared snapped this shot for me, so I have proof, that I am one of the lucky people in the world to have Emily Ruiz as a friend! Maybe now that I am not recovering from surgery or other health issues, and she is not pregnant, we might be able to play in a volleyball tournament!!!! Emily has been a blessing to my life the past 4 years. She took care of me after my knee surgery, visited me every day, made me food, and took me to the pool for rehab. She and her husband Casey, even let Jared and I stay at their home for several weeks at a time, when we first moved to St. George. I love you, Emily! You are an amazing woman! (All of the people sitting at my table agreed!)

Vici & Big John Pryor! They are two of our most favorite people in the world. For the past year, they have allowed Jared and I to come down almost every month and stay in their home. That has allowed me to go to the doctor to receive the health care I needed to finally get HEALTHY. They also allowed Jared & I to stay in their home when I was taking pictures of other weddings! (Which provided the money to go to the doctor!!!) Thank you John and Vici for loving us, for taking care of us, for providing such a wonderful place to stay and for bringing so much joy into our lives! We love you!

33 days until I attend the commencement exercises for SUU!!!

I will be walking at the commencement and graduation exercises at SUU on May 2, 2009--- but I will not graduate until after I finish four remaining classes. After I finish up those courses over the summer, I will receive my Master's of Science in Sports Performance and Conditioning from Southern Utah University in Cedar, Utah!

I am really excited that the featured speaker at the University Commencement is President Thomas Monson, of the LDS church. When I received my Bachelors of Science from BYU in 1995, President Gordon B. Hinckley spoke at the university commencement exercises! He was the newly ordained prophet of the church!

Am I spoiled or what?

Lydia King Baptism

Saturday March 28, 2009 beautiful Lydia King was baptized by her father, Seth King into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints!

Jared and I were Lydia's primary teachers from June 2007- August 2008. She was the only girl in the class when we moved. Lydia was a joy to have in our class. She was excellent at reading, being a good example, memorizing her articles of faith and she was a great class leader. Even at 6 years old, she could tell the story of Joseph Smith and the first vision. It is a beautiful thing hearing a child testify that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God and saw, God the Father and Jesus Christ.

Lydia is also very musically talented, like her mother (and father). Even at 6 and 7 she would perform solo's in front of the whole church congregations. She has a beautiful angelic voice like her mother. Tears of joy always come to our eyes when she sings!

Thank you for being a blessing our lives and bringing so much happiness and joy into our lives. Thank you for letting us be part of such a beautiful day! We love you, Lydia!

Hannah McBride- HAPPY 5th Birthday!

Happy Birthday Hannah!

Hannah McBride Celebrated her 5th Birthday March 20, 2009. So, on March 19, 2009 Jared and I took her to Grape Day Park in Escondido, California.

Friendly tour guides showed us the inside of the train, that has a train model, after Hannah gently reminded us not to get distracted! :)

Hannah also noticed the Old Victorian home did not have an indoor bathroom, but did not understand what was so horrible about an outhouse.

Jared and Hannah enjoyed monkeying around on the grapevine playground!

Thanks for playing with us Hannah! We had a great time with you on your birthday! We love you!!!

Jared Lights Up the Stage, as a Chimney Sweep in MARY POPPINS

Jared loves his calling as an Advisor in the Special Needs Mutual Program in St George Utah. This is a picture of Jared before the road show on March 11th, with some of his friends, James, Derek & Ridley in the Desert Hills High School sound booth. These young men did a fantastic job providing the lighting and sound for the Special Needs Mutual Road Show!

While Jared's friends were safely hidden in the light/sound booth, Jared was on stage playing a chimney sweep in the Mary Poppins number. He did a perfect cartwheel while the audience cheered. I think Jared missed his true calling. Jared was meant to Light up the Stage on Broadway. Just look at that smile.

Everyone did a wonderful job in the production! The lights shined bright at Desert Hills High School March 11, 2009.

Fast Trip up North Jan 16 -18, 2008

We had perfect weather in St George, Utah over the holiday weekend-- so we left town! We drove up up North, to the freezing cold. Why? you ask. Well, cold weather, freezing cold weather is perfect weather to climb frozen waterfalls. Saturday morning Jared and one of his very best friends, Nate Cox, climbed extra large frozen icicles in Provo Canyon, at Bridal Veil Falls. Jared had a great time in the cold, while I stayed nice and warm--inside!

Later that day we were driving past the Great Salt Lake to the Adair's home in Stansbury Park. But just as we were almost their, the sun began it's descent and the lighting was gorgeous at the Great Salt Lake. I begged Brian and Jared to turn around and take me back to this beautiful spots to take pictures. It was so cold... But I had to get some pictures.

I love this picture, because who knows where in the universe this was taken. The inversion hides the outline of the mountains and the Great Salt Lake is not so recognizable.

Not only was I able to take some beautiful pictures, but Jared and Brian taught me how to drive on the ice, or should I say, they taught me how to do 180 degree turns on the ice. It may be called doughnuts. I don't know what you call it, all I know is it was so much fun feeling the back end of the car slide around 180 degrees. It was way better than any roller coaster and I didn't even hit any rocks or anything!

Brian and Jared patiently endured me practicing my new driving skill over and over and over again. Too bad there isn't much ice in St George, because I loved doing doughnuts on the ice!

Jared and I went to Zion's National Park on Saturday late afternoon and early evening. We watched the moon rise in the east. It illuminated the majestic creations surrounding and in Zion's Great Canyon Walls. The moon appeared extra-large on Saturday night because it was the closest it will be to the earth this year (2009). It was a wonderful and magical date taking pictures of some of God's most beautiful creations.

On December 30, 2008 Jared and I went to the beach with some of our favorite people in the world. We had so much fun taking pictures, slack lining and having a bonfire!

I am so blessed to be married to such an affectionate man!

We went to the beach almost every day we were in San Diego. I love walking along the beach with MY husband, holding his hand and letting him steal a kiss or two or maybe more...

Jared & I got our very first pet at a White Elephant Gift Exchange. Inside of our gift was a Madagascar Hissing Cockroach. Yes, I said cockroach. After we found him we asked, "Can we really keep him?"

I don't think that was the response they were going for!!!

We've named him WALL.E.

Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches make very good pets. They eat about everything and are harmless to people. They don't bark and upset the neighbors. Most people aren't allergic and they are great conversation starters.

"Have you ever seen a Madagascar Hissing Cockroach?"

Jared is trying to find a cute little pet purse, you know like the ones for small dogs. He wants to take WALL.E with us on "outings".

This year, all the McBride children chipped in and printed this family photo on canvas for Mom and Dad. Nathan at Print It, on main Street in St George, did an amazing job printing the image and framing it in this beautiful chunky frame!

Funny Face Photo took the photo during our family reunion last year! Isn't it gorgeous??

We want to thank everyone for contributing for the gift. THANK YOU!!!!

Mom and Dad's reaction was priceless. They were so surprised and absolutely loved the gift. The framed image was securely placed on the wall... in a place of honor where all can view it... within 5 minutes of receiving it!

It looks great in the home and I know it will help Mom and Dad remember the great memories of our Family Reunion in 2007! Thanks everyone!

HALLOWEEN- SHREK II

Jared and I, were Shrek and Fiona this year for halloween! Some people didn't even recognize Jared. We had so much fun running errands, going to a party, and a Dixie Women's Volleyball game. We even went and saw a late night movie all dressed up.

Thank You, Vici, for letting us borrow such awesome costumes. When we walked into a College Volleyball game and the whole crowd turned and watched us climb the bleachers. I thought they were going to have to stop the game on a count to us.

Of course, I loved the attention!

DAY OF MIRACLES- DAY OF FUN!

Friday, November 16th, 2008 I woke up thinking about and missing the primary class we taught in Bloomington Hills. I wondered when I would get to see them again. But it was a day of miracles and I got to see all the children that I missed so very much, later that very afternoon!

Miracle # 1 --Friday was a gorgeous day in Southern Utah.

Miracle # 2 --Jared and I finished cleaning windows early in the afternoon.

I asked Jared, "Hey, you want to call the kids and see if they can come out and play with us at the park?" He loved the idea. He loves playing on the park equipment just as much if not more than the kids! (Just ask any of his nieces or nephews.)

Miracle # 3 -- Each and everyone of the children was available to play with us. (It isn't easy competing with football, soccer and family vacations.)

Miracle # 4 -- I got to spend the afternoon and evening with some of my favorite people, my husband and the CTR 7 class from Bloomington Hills.

It was so fun spending time with the children we've grown to love over the past year and a half. It was one of the highlights of the week!
