Southern Utah ADVENTURE June 4-6, 2009


In 56 Hours ... 

We traveled Over 1000 miles in the Element and...
We visited 18 National & State parks in Southern Utah 
(with a few hours of sleep in the back of the Element)

Did I mention NO SHOWERS?

Day ONE (10 hours of driving- 10 parks)
Park 1-  Snow Canyon State Park
Park 2- Quail Creek State Park
Park 3- Sand Hollow State Park
Park 4- Zion's National Park (Kolob)
Park 5- Iron Mission State Park
Park 6- Cedar Breaks National Park
Park 7- Bryce Canyon National Park
Park 8- Grand Staircase National Monument
Park 9- Kodachrome Basin State Park
Park 10- Escalante State Park

Slept at Calf Creek Recreational Site

DAY 2-
Calf Creek Falls Hike
 6:30 AM- 11:ooAm

Park 11- Anasazi State Park
Park 12- Capital Reef National Park
Park 13- Goblin Valley State Park
Park 14- Green River State Park
Park 15- Arches National Park
(5 Parks in 8 hours of driving)

Day 3-
Park 15- Arches National Park Revisited
Park 16-  Dead Horse Point
Park 17- Canyon Lands National Park
Park 18- Freemont Indian State Park
(3 additional Parks in 9 hours)

I can't believe you, Jennie; NO SHOWERS???! I thiught that would be the most horrific thing for you! :)
That sounds like a super fun whirlwind trip! What a smorgasbord of excitement!
